january : self portrait

I mentioned in this post that I'm taking a picture each day this year.

eek.

fun but also a challenge remembering each day to do it!:)

I was so bummed that on the 30th, I knew I hadn't taken my picture yet, and was going to do it after I got home from an activity.......aaaaand I forgot.

buuuut, although I've missed 1 day I'm going to keep going. because, although I wish I could say I never missed a day this whole year....thats not the goal of doing this.

its a challenge for me to use my camera every single day and capture life.

and that's what is important.

one night I actually was already in bed....about to fall asleep.......and then I realized I hadn't taken my self-portrait yet.

lovely.

so I climbed out of bed and took it....looking half-awake and horrible.

{and fyi that pic is totally not in this post! :) if you think i'd actually post a picture of myself looking like that for all the world to see......no way}

now I'm onto February....which is food.

which is forcing me to be more creative :P and I'm having fun with.

first day of the new year! woot woot!

 i am sooo in love with this headband.

 this is what you get when you try to take a picture of yourself with a 50mm lens....half your head gets chopped off, haha.
