there is no place like it

I'm typing this from home. yes, home. best place ever.
I've been in Texas for the last two weeks at Jessica Shae's summer adventure, making new friends, and helping with Bright Lights conferences.
I feel like I've been gone for a month and have been traipsing around like a gypsy or something. :P
And I'm mentally savoring all the laughable memories that have been made, and looking through pictures I'll be posting soon reminds me of all the awesome-ness I've had in my life lately.
I feel so increeedibly blessed by all the new friends I've made lately (<--best thing in life), and the old ones I've connected again with, and here are a few pictures from the last few days of me with some of them. :)
right now I'm thankful for home.
little brother kisses.
one brother saying I was coming home and "never leaving again." ;)
starbucks.
family.
hilarious car ride convos.
iowa. i loooove this state.
sweet Christian friends that continually sharpen me.
the couch I'm sitting on.
I slept on it the night before I flew to Texas, and here I am back again...with so many things that have happened from the moment I left it, and this moment that I'm back sitting on it.
I'm just plain thankful that I'm home with my family.

what everyday moments are you thankful for?

  1. Ohhh... so jealous that you got to meet (and work with) the young ladies at the conference... :) I got to talk to Sarah for a few minutes and Bekah (My small group leader), but nobody else... :( I really enjoyed the conference and would definitely recommend it to all young ladies!! :)

  2. Hannah, You make me wish so much that I could have been there with you all! But, thanks for posting pictures and giving me a glimpse into the BL Conference from afar.

BTW, I really like the picture that you have for your header.

    1. Nela, that is so neat you know those two--awesome girls.

I won't be there for the whole conference next weekend, but I may pop in for a little while, so definetly say hey if you see me. ;) I'd love to meet you!
