Every family session I do is always so, so fun.
But this session was a bit more fun because I got to use a vintage church pew in it!!
I had been wanting one of these for awhile, and my parents found one for me as an early birthday present...
and I'm so happy I got to use it at their session!
The Thomas' are awesome people--love them.
We met Trent & Amanda right after they were first married,
and it has been so fun to see their little family grow over the last seven years!

I wasn't sure exactly how a shoot would go with four kids, six and under, so I brought my brother Jurgen along to help.
But the whole shoot flowed so well, and I was thrilled with the moments that were captured and the shots we got!
Right before this shoot I bought Angie Monson's [love her work] family posing guide [see HERE!]--
and used some of her tips/tricks, which was a huge help!
so any photogs reading this, I would highly recommend purchasing that..great investment!

enjoy my [many!] favorites of this beautiful family.
