as summer closes : personal

I just pulled out a few summer photos I never blogged from back in July..
some taken with my 50mm, and others with a 100mm 2.8 macro and a 70-200 L I rented for the wedding I shot.
boy, playing with different lenses is fun. :)

It amazes me how fast the summer has blurred by...
school has started up again and hints of fall are popping up.
I'm ready for the fall weather...the leaves subtly turning, cooler temps, and the call for the
jeans/boots/scarves/beanie combos. ;)
who's with me?!

My fall calendar is filling up rapidly--so if you were thinking about scheduling a session do so soon!
I'm committed to limiting myself more this fall so I can stay sane [haha] and not get overwhelmed like last year,
so I'm not accepting quite as many shoots. ;)

happy Monday!

  1. So glad that there is someone else excited about the closing of summer! I am beyond excited that Autumn is moving in! And I'm completely jazzed that winter is on it's way! The boots, hats, cute winter outfits, the smell of spices wafting through the house, the coziness of a living room... yes... I'm more than ready!
    I need to comment more often, don't I? :]
    See you in a week!
    Love ya!

  3. Do you do much editing on your photos? I really like the first photo! And I REALLY like your header! Cute! :)

    1. thanks! I don't do a ton of editing..mostly just play with exposure, the tone of the photo (warmer or cooler white balance) vibrance, and blacks in Lightroom. :)
