I just got home this afternoon from an awesome week at family camp in northern Iowa.
so refreshing to get away from regular life for a few days.
it almost feels weird to be staring at a computer screen, since I left my laptop at home over the last week..and now I've got e-mails to reply to + editing + lots of blog posts to share now that I'm home for awhile. ;)
our week at camp was happy.
a theme over this last week I think was laughter--which is one of my fav things to do.
laughing with family
laughing with friends (some I've known since I was little, and others that I bonded with once I got there)
laughing in chapel over the hilarious analogies the speaker shared
laughing over games late at night, which are automatically funny because you're so tired by that time
laughing over similarities you find with people in conversations
and just plain laughing about life. it's the best.
[and btw if you look at the word 'laughing' long enough, you start to question if you're spelling it right] :P
hope you enjoy a peek into my week.

Oh my goodness!! You know my Bright Lights leader, Jennifer!!! :D That is so neat! I also recognize a few other girls from our group. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun at the camp!
Nela, that is so cool that Jennifer is your leader! :) I heard you were at the Bright Lights radiant purity conf. in Cedar Rapids--sorry I didn't get to see you there. Hopefully we can meet another time! :)
DeleteLooks like some fun times! I of course love the Captain America symbol on the dry erse board. :)
ReplyDeleteGah - I wanna go back to camp now. Think I'm ready... looks like a pretty brilliant week away. You made Iowa look pretty appealing. I think I may have to check it out sometime.
