Hannah Elise: summer adventure // recap-ness

looking back on all I did with going down to texas, I almost can't believe all this happened to me... just a random girl in iowa. I almost want to pinch myself because in a way it all seems like a dream. I can't believe I flew down there by myself (for the first time, and with three layovers!) and that I got to spend 4 days with Jessica and 8 other amazing girls all interested in the same thing: photography. I'll never forget waiting at the hotel that sunday night and inwardly freaking out because I was about to be meeting Jessica and Hannah Nicole. and then there was a knock at the door and I opened it and there was Jessica with a huge smile on her face. :) after reading her awesome photography blog for over two years, I got to meet her in person. and she is seriously one of the fun-nest (yes, that is a word) people I've ever been around. it was amazing to have that opportunity to learn from her.
some other happy memories I'll always savor: the way certain interns pronounced "bag" [no names mentioned] :P the elevator story and how we all died laughing over it. defining & realizing more about my brand as a photographer. the fabulous shoots we had each night with amazing models. each night sitting next to each other and like-ing everything each of us was posting on fb. learning ohsomuch regarding shooting, marketing, client interaction + the list goes on...
basically the summer adventure was a highlight of my year... hopefully you can read between the lines from the frames below and catch the laughter, hear the shutters clicking, grasp the things being taught, sense the jokes we shared, and see the friendships formed those four days. Photobucket

I wish I could go back to that week and freeze it and live in it forever. but that week itself is over...but the photography adventure still continues... awesome people, hilariously fun memories, new experiences...it was a summer adventure, and it was epic.
