Yeow, I better get these blogged before all the snow has melted!!

This week Iowa has had glorious warm weather, and I couldn't be more thrilled. :)

Love it.

Back in February I had the pleasure of attending a girl's retreat a friend hosted by St. Louis,

and I was super thrilled that I got to meet and hang out with Jessica Lauren while there!

I found her work awhile back through a fellow Jessica Shae intern, Madi,

and we have been e-mailing back and forth, and she guest-posted on my blog for Boho Blogtober.

Jessica has such joy that radiates from the inside out..so fun to be around!!

Her business is going places--lemme tell ya--and the passion she has inspires me.

I found Amelia through Instagram, and was excited she also got to come to part of the retreat!

Meeting blogging/social media friends is seriously the best.

She has a such sweet and gentle spirit, and yet a clear drive with her business.

I'm so excited to see how her photography continues to flourish!

Being around other young, creative entrepreneurs is always a huge encouragement.

I was so blessed by talking 'photog-talk' with these girls, as they just get what you're saying. 

Obviously we did a short shoot in the freezing cold at the camp,

and yes we had soaking wet boots and coats and camera bags and all that jazz :P, 

but the laughter and images were worth it..yes? :)

And we all agreed that doing a shoot with three people is way easier than just two..ha!

One person would be the 'coat-rack' and also hold 2 cameras and bags, while the other person photographed the subject...

and then you rotate around.
